When I cook I use all of my mom’s “secret” recipes, supposedly these recipes have been in our family since my great-great-great grandmother! But between us, I sometimes go online and look up recipes on how to make a certain dish (tell my mother I’ll deny it!). It’s not that I don’t enjoy my family’s recipes, I just want to learn different ways to make something. But apparently I am not alone! A recent study, done by The Hartman Group and Publicis Consultants USA, has shown that mom is not the go to person anymore when making dinner!
Grocery Store Applications
The study showed that more than fifty percent of people go online or use social media sites to talk about new recipes or get recipes! This study is just another example of how social media is taking over the world. For instance, South Korea is putting virtual grocery stores in their subways so people can shop on the go. Or how there are phone applications that allow people to shop online and have their groceries delivered to their doorstep.
I believe, and the facts show, that social media/internet is taking over the grocery world and most grocery stores are not ready for this big change!

I’m one of those few people that are gifted with the ability to eat spicy foods and not be affected by it! I just think it’s really funny how some people always brag about how they can handle their peppers but the minute that spicy pepper hits their mouth they start to turn red and their eye begin to water and all you can do is laugh and shake your head because you know the pain they’re going through.
The Habanero Chili Pepper
Anyways, today I’m addressing all of you grocery shoppers that want to try spicy peppers but aren’t really sure how much spiciness you can handle. Well obviously the main way to see how spicy a pepper is to try it, but you are playing with fire my friends, literally you will be on fire now and later (if you know what I mean). But if you are not willing to take the “test” then just follow the Scoville scale! The Scoville scale is the measurement of how spicy a chili pepper is, and the Scoville scale is based off the amount of capsaicin there is present in a pepper. Capsaicin is a compound that stimulates chemoreceptor nerve endings, and it also affects the mucous membranes which is why you always seem to have that runny nose after eating a spicy meal. So I’m going to introduce you to 6 chili peppers that people tend to consume.
The Trinidad Scorpion Batch t Chili Pepper
If you are an amateur chili pepper eater, please stay away from 4 and up! I’d recommend you to start small and slowly move up to the regular habanero. But if you think you can handle it, you can find most chili peppers at your local grocery store. It might a little harder trying to find the Naga Jolokia, Naga Viper, and Trinand Scorpion Butch t because these are chili peppers that most people cannot eat so your local grocery store may not have them! Baking has always been a secret passion of mine, but it’s no secret that cupcakes are becoming more and more popular. Who wouldn’t love those little, adorable cakes in a cup? I know I do! I don’t know about you, but I prefer my cupcakes in a paper cup, fresh out of the oven smothered with delicious butter-cream frosting on top. Sprinkles Cupcakes opens their first 24-hour cupcake ATM in Beverly Hills where 600 cupcakes have been freshly made and waiting to be sold. The all pink cupcake ATM is easily to spot and is definitely simple to use as well. The touch-screen machine allows you to scroll through the many different types of cupcakes to choose from. There is also a picture and description of each cupcake flavor to help make your decision a little easier. Once you have chosen your cupcake of choice, the ATM will gladly accept credit card or debit. After your transaction has been processed, it’s now time for the best part! As your cupcake is being retrieved, there is a camera following the entire process while you are able to watch on the screen your cupcake being delivered. The door opens up and there sits your delicious cupcake waiting to be eaten.

My cupcake dreams have come true! Cupcakes are continuing to dominate the bakery world and now the 24-hour cupcake ATM can satisfy any sweet-tooth at any time of the day. Getting your hands on freshly-baked cupcakes couldn’t get any easier! If this cupcake ATM takes off, I’m sure we’ll be seeing these all over retail stores and possibly grocery stores as well!
