IT Retail Announces Integration With WINEPS Payment Solution
RIVERSIDE, CA, January 21, 2008 – IT Retail announced the integration of the MTXEPS’ WinEPS Electronic Payments engine into IT Retail’s Retail™ POS software application for the Grocery, Drug and Convenience Store sectors.
WinEPS provides a range of electronic payment options including Debit and Credit transactions, EBT, Gift Card, and Check Authorization/Conversion. The Windows-based solution will enable IT Retail’s POS customers to benefit from advanced features including automatic tender resolution, automatic debit/credit conversion and customer-defined configuration capabilities. IT Retail will serve as the single point of contact for the POS and the electronic payment solution, both for applications and support.
The integration to WinEPS will expand IT Retail’s offerings in payment terminals and integrated payment processors. The seamless integration between both products will allow customers to choose from a wide variety of payment terminal solutions including offerings from Verifone®, Ingenico and Hypercom™. WinEPS also supports interfaces to multiple host processors allowing customers the flexibility of sending different transactions to different hosts. For example, you can send Check Authorization and Gift Cards to one host and Debit, Credit, and EBT to another. This provides customers with the flexibility to choose the host with the best price-performance programs giving them the edge they need to assure competitive, feature-rich solutions.
