IT Retail and Goodwins Organics Celebrate their 2 year Anniversary
RIVERSIDE, CA, October 4, 2010 – IT Retail and Goodwins Organics celebrate a two year partnership.
Four years ago Martin Goodwin noticed a huge void in the market for organic food. He perceived that consumers were becoming increasingly aware of what they were eating, yet the availability for buying good quality, healthy food was scarce. In the budding stages of health food trend Martin decided to put his knowledge of grocery to work and build an all organic health food store.
As Martin researched the different aspects of the health food industry he realized that there were no grocery stores that were “All Orgranic”. He saw past the health food stores, and natural markets, that marketed themselves as local health food providers. These stores used a flurry of terms such as antibiotic free, all natural, no hormones, locally grown, and organic, clumping all of these terms into the umbrella of healthy food.
He realized that they were taking advantage of the pure trend that he was trying to promote through his store. He decided to put his foot down and reinvent the health food market and create a store that had nothing but organic food. Thus the idea for Goodwins Organics was formulated, and in October of 2008 it was implemented.
Two years down the road Goodwins Organics has definitely made an impact on the surrounding community. Goodwins is always pushing to find the next new thing that will improve your overall quality of life.
