NGA, or the National Grocers’ Association, represents the retail and wholesale grocers within the independent sector of the food distribution industry. This independent grocery sector is responsible for close to one percent of the nation’s overall economy and can be credited with generating $131 billion in sales, 944,000 jobs, and $30 billion in wages. NGA exists to celebrate and encourage growth in this industry. NGA members include retail and wholesale grocers, state grocers associations, as well as manufacturers and service suppliers. NGA is the only industry association devoted exclusively to the needs of independent grocers.

Our industry serves a rapidly growing pool of literally hungry consumers. Because of this growing consumer count, as well as the advancements of ever-improving grocery technology, the NGA Show is a necessity to better serve communities across the country. For three days, the expo brings together independent retailers and wholesalers, food retail industry executives, food/CPG manufacturers, and service providers. Sign up today for unparalleled opportunities to learn, network, and innovate.

The 2020 NGA Show is a must-attend for grocers across the nation. Some of the events on 2020’s NGA “show docket” include:

  • Modern-day retailing and nutrition guidance, including various e-commerce strategies.
  • Management and grocery best practices, as presented by over 100 speakers, including independent retailers and wholesalers.
  • 60+ educational workshops and sessions providing insights on industry trends, emerging issues, and efficient solutions to common problems.
  • 400+ exhibitors on the Expo Floor, showcasing innovative technologies and solutions to boost value for your business.

“Personally, I believe if you are an independent grocer and want to stay up-to-date and competitive in your industry, you should go to NGA.” – Kaleb G. (4th Generation Grocer)
