Does IT Retail work with my existing deli scale?

Yes, IT Retail most likely works with your existing scale. We support a wide range of brands, including Hobart, Zebra, CAS, Ishida, and more. For the best connectivity and most affordable option, we recommend using internet-connected CAS scales.

Will product changes in my back office automatically update on my scale?

Yes. If you use a compatible, network-connected scale, IT Retail can update your scale over the network within 15 minutes. If you use another scale, you can use a third-party integration to update your scales, or do so manually.

 

Do I have to buy a CAS scale through IT Retail to use the network update feature?

Nope! If you already have a compatible CAS scale, we can integrate with your existing scale. If you’d like a new CAS scale, we also sell them at a great price.

Are the labels printed by IT Retail compliant with food labeling requirements?

Yes. IT Retail allows you to include detailed ingredient and nutritional information on any label, so you can print labels compliant with food labeling standards.

Can I print labels for items that aren’t sold by weight?

Yes. IT Retail supports printing labels for products sold by the unit instead of by weight.
