EBT Food vs. EBT Cash

EBT Cash can be used to buy food and non-food items. This EBT program is more flexible and can be withdrawn as cash from an ATM.

How To Accept EBT at Your Grocery Store

1. Apply for SNAP

The first step is completing the SNAP retailer application.

There is no cost to apply, but you must be authorized by the USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) before you can accept EBT.
